BEGINNERS' AND NEWCOMERS' CLASS

The Gateway to NBW

Everyone who would like to consider attending NBW's sessions in Guildford and/or Woking are advised to first attend our free Beginners' and Newcomers' Class. This applies equally to those who have never meditated before and those who have done so for years. We have found over the years that this 'gateway' makes for a beneficial experience both for the regulars and the newcomers. The class is free of charge, and there is free parking. NEXT CLASS: Will be in Guildford at the Quiet Centre, University of Surrey, Guildford, on a Sunday,11.30-13.30 hrs. The date will be announced here and in our weekly circular. Email us at info@newbuddhaway.org if you wish to receive an email invitation to the Class.

LAST CLASS IN GUILDFORD took place on 29th January 2012. About 40 people took part.


LAST CLASS IN WOKING: On Wednesday 9th November 2011, at The Maybury Centre, Board School Rd, Woking, GU21 5HD, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.


PREVIOUS CLASS IN GUILDFORD: On Sunday 21st August 2011,1pm-4pm at The Spike community centre, Warren Road, Guildford.

PREVIOUS CLASS IS IN WOKING:
Wednesday 22nd June 2011, at The Maybury Centre, Board School Rd, Woking, GU21 5HD, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

PREVIOUS CLASS IN GUILDFORD: On Sunday 29th May 1pm-4pm at The Spike community centre, Warren Road, Guildford.

* No prior knowledge is required, and no need to bring anything.
* Instruction with short exercises in meditation and posture.
* No technical terms, only English language, simple approach.
* There is a time for questions and discussion.
* There will be a 15 minute tea-break; drinks and biscuits provided.
* You are not required to sit on a cushion unless you wish to.
* Suitable for all age groups. People from 14 years to 84 have attended in the past.

The class is free, to but to help us pay for the venue a donation is always appreciated.
