Beginners' & Newcomers' Class
The next class will be on Sunday 23rd May from 1pm to 4 pm. Let us know at info@newbuddhaway.org if you wish to attend. No prior knowledge required, and no need to bring anything. The whole of the Buddha's teaching will be explained with short exercises in meditation and posture. (One is not required to sit on a cushion unless one wishes to.) Suitable for all age groups. To pay for the venue a donation of £5 would be appreciated from those who can afford it. Venue: The Spike community centre, Guildford. See directions under 'Getting There' on this website.

Wesak Festival (Guildford)
The annual Wesak festival will be held at The Spike, Guildford on Sunday 30th May2010. Delicious vegetarian dishes will be prepared for all. Everyone is welcome, free of charge.

A One Week retreat
NBW is also planning a one week (six nights) retreat in Wales, possibly in 2010. THis will accommodate 12 people and the price should work out at about £150 per person for the whole week, to cover cost of renting the cottage and mini-bus hire. If you have any thoughts about this, do let us know.

Change of Guildford Venue
On Sunday 28th February 2010 NBW moved its weekly Sunday session to The Spike, Warren Rd., Guildford. See the 'Getting There' page on this site.
Sadly, the Quiet Centre at the University of Surrey is due for demolition so that a Multifaith centre can be built some time in the future.
